Terms of use

Last updated 11 October 2026

The short version

  • You must be 18 or over and use your own real Facebook account.
  • Only vouch for people you have genuinely traded with. No fake, paid or swapped vouches.
  • VouchTrader shows other traders' opinions. A vouch is not a guarantee — we are not part of your trades.
  • To keep the community safe we may review, pause or remove profiles and vouches. A review doesn't mean anyone has done anything wrong.

1. About these terms

VouchTrader (vouchtrader.com) is run by Techno Help Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using VouchTrader you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.

2. Who can use VouchTrader

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • You must sign in with your own genuine Facebook account and have only one VouchTrader account.
  • You must give us an email address you control.

3. Your profile is public

Your name, Facebook profile picture, vouches, confirmed deals and the vouches you give are shown publicly and may be found by search engines, as described in our privacy policy. Please don't put sensitive information or other people's personal details in comments, messages or deal descriptions.

4. Honest vouching — the rules

You must not:

  • vouch for someone you haven't genuinely traded with, or record a deal that didn't happen;
  • buy, sell or swap vouches, or organise groups to vouch for each other;
  • create more than one account, use someone else's account, or pretend to be someone else;
  • post anything false, misleading, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful;
  • send vouch requests to people you haven't traded with, or use VouchTrader to spam or harass anyone;
  • copy or scrape VouchTrader data in bulk, or try to interfere with or break the site's security.

5. Content you add

You're responsible for the vouches, comments, messages and deal details you add, and you confirm they are honest and accurate. You allow us to store and display them on VouchTrader (including on other traders' profiles) for as long as they remain on the service. You can withdraw a vouch you gave, or delete your account, at any time.

6. Reporting, reviews, pauses and removals

Reporting. If you think a profile or vouch is false or breaks these terms, use the Report link on the profile or email support@vouchtrader.com. Tell us what happened: reports need some detail, and you must confirm you're reporting honestly and in good faith. We don't tell the trader who reported them, and we don't share the outcome in detail. Making false or malicious reports (for example against a competitor) is itself a breach of these terms.

To keep VouchTrader trustworthy, our team may look at any profile or vouch, at any time and for many reasons — including reports, routine checks and unusual activity. Depending on what we find, a profile may be:

  • Reviewed — we look at the account. Nothing changes on the profile while we do this.
  • Paused — the profile stays visible, but its vouches and deal history are hidden behind a neutral notice, and the trader can't send vouch requests, vouch or record deals until the review is finished. We'll email the trader. If we need information from them, we'll ask on their review page (sign in and choose View your review on the dashboard) and give them at least 3 business days to reply there; the exact date is shown in our email and on the page. We aim to finish within 30 days. A pause is not a finding that the trader has done anything wrong.
  • Restored — if we decide no action is needed, everything goes back to how it was, with no record shown on the profile.
  • Removed — if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, the law requires it, or it's needed to protect other users, we may remove individual vouches or the whole account. A removed profile simply shows as unavailable, vouches the trader gave stop showing on other profiles, and their pending vouch requests and deals are put on hold. We keep a removed account for 6 months in case the decision is looked at again: if it's reversed, everything comes back. After that the account is deleted.

Sign-up blocks. When we remove an account, the Facebook account it used is blocked from signing up to VouchTrader again. The block stays in place until we lift it, which you can ask us to do by contacting support@vouchtrader.com. If you try to sign in while blocked, we'll show you a reference code to include in your email so we can find your case. We review blocks at least every 2 years and lift them when they're no longer needed.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, except while it's paused or removed — then contact support@vouchtrader.com and we'll delete it for you. Deleting an account doesn't lift a sign-up block. If you delete your account while it's being reviewed, we may stop the same Facebook account signing up again until the review is finished, and may keep the block if the review finds these terms were broken.

These decisions are made by a person, not automatically, and we keep a record of each one. We don't publicly label anyone or say why a profile is paused or unavailable. If you disagree with a decision about your account, reply to our email or contact support@vouchtrader.com and someone who wasn't involved, where possible, will look at it again.

7. We're not part of your trades

VouchTrader only displays information that traders provide about each other. We do not buy, sell, hold, value or deliver any goods or money, we don't verify trades or the identity of traders beyond their Facebook sign-in, and we're not a party to any deal between users. Vouches are other people's opinions of their own experience — not a guarantee or recommendation by us. Always use your own judgement, check items, and use protected payment methods.

8. Availability and changes

VouchTrader is free. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change, suspend or stop all or part of the service. We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we'll let you know on the site or by email.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, because VouchTrader is a free service that displays users' own content, we are not responsible for any loss arising from trades between users, from relying on vouches or profile information, or from content posted by other users. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using VouchTrader and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have not completed sign-up.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
